After
many years of working in the engineering consultant business,
and with the goal of providing innovative services to area
clients, Michael J. Karvakko founded Karvakko Engineering
in 2006. We immediately became known for our work in
aviation and municipal engineering. Within the first
two years of operation, our firm has more than doubled in
terms of both employees and client base. With our main
office in Bemidji, Minnesota, we are geographically positioned
to be accessible to large and small communities in the region.
As one of Northern Minnesota’s most respected engineering
consultant firms, Karvakko Engineering provides services
to clients in both the public and private sectors. We offer
full services in a broad range of disciplines, including
municipal, aviation and transportation engineering. Our
staff of engineers, technicians and surveyors offers a variety
of experience that allows us to lead a project from concept
through completion.
