SIMPLE retirement plan and matching contribution
Available to eligible employees, Karvakko Engineering’s retirement Plan allows employees to defer a portion of their income and contribute that percentage to the plan on a pre-tax basis, thus lowering taxable income by an amount equal to savings. The company also contributes to the plan on employees’ behalf in the form of matching contributions. The plan allows for flexibility in investment choices with a variety of funds. Eligible employees may participate after completing six months of service.
Health insurance
Eligible employees are eligible to enroll in a health insurance plan.
Paid time-off benefits
Karvakko Engineering employees accrue paid time-off (vacation and sick leave) biweekly. The number of days employees receive is based on length of service. Also, bereavement leave and holidays are available as separate paid time-off programs.
Professional development programs
Karvakko Engineering offers employees various on-site and off-site training and professional development programs.
Educational assistance plan
Ongoing employee education, training and development play a crucial part in Karvakko Engineering’s continuing success. By helping pay for tuition, fees, books, equipment and supplies for courses at accredited public colleges, universities and community colleges, Karvakko Engineering helps employees become better-informed and more technically proficient. All full-time employees are eligible.
